Mandeep has extensive experience in the NHS from frontline clinician (primary, community and secondary care) culminating in a senior management role. She began her career in secondary care, providing a sound clinical pharmacy foundation.
Mandeep now has over 18 years’ expertise in primary care medicines management/optimisation and acute commissioning; of which 13 years are at senior management level. Most recently she served as the Chief Pharmacist for Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group.
Her work to manage medicines expenditure has regularly produced annual QIPP savings in excess of £300k for her organisations.
She has also been a leader in developing innovative pharmacy based clinical programs and was recognised for her work in creating the Medicines Optimisation Service at CLCH in 2012 and was part of the project team that won the 2013 Pharmaceutical Care Award for Pharmacist prescriber led hypertension clinics.
Mandeep is a graduate of the London School of Pharmacy. She also holds a certificate in Healthcare Management and her qualifications include PRINCE2 Practitioner and Managing Successful Programme (MSP) Practitioner.
